“How to Pray”

“People of the Way”
Why would a church spend energy organizing a Farmers’ Market and tending a community garden? Why would we host a Community Cookout each year? Because these are at the core of our mission in and around our community, influenced greatly by our Christian identity.
In 2014, Rev. Kris led a series on series on Dwight Zscheile’s book The People of the Way. There is a rich tradition in the Episcopal Church that is often overlooked or misrepresented among the controversies and theological debates of the day.
This program is for anyone interested in learning more about the history and theology of the Episcopal Church and how it influences the mission of St. David’s.
