Curious about church?

You don’t need to have all the answers. At St. David’s, we welcome questions, doubts, and honest searching. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time, have just moved to our neighborhood, or are simply seeking a different church culture, you are welcome here.

At St. David’s, we believe in:

A thoughtful and inclusive theology that welcomes dialogue.

In our exploration of faith, there is space for questions, interpretation, and spiritual growth. St. David’s is here to help you on your journey through weekly sacramental worship, with communion open to all.

Honoring tradition while embracing the present.

St. David’s practices a blended worship service, a reverent yet approachable service combining the modern Rite II liturgy, traditional hymns, songs of praise, and contemporary interpretations of scripture.

If you’re coming from a Catholic background, you’ll find familiar rituals like the Eucharist and liturgical calendar made more accessible and modern, while remaining reverent.

Welcoming people of all backgrounds and identities.

We value community and compassion as part of our faith. Our church is open to people of all backgrounds and identities, no matter where you are in your spiritual journey. God’s table is open to you, and all are welcome to participate in communion or receive a blessing.

Shared leadership between clergy and congregation.

The Episcopal Church uses a democratic structure, where bishops, priests, and members of the congregation work together. Ministry is shared, and everyone is encouraged to contribute their gifts.

Common questions about St. David’s

  • Nope. We believe faith is a journey, and everyone is at a different place. You’re invited to explore at your own pace.

  • We’ll provide you with a bulletin when you arrive that will guide you through the stages of each service. You’re also welcome to simply observe if that’s more comfortable.

  • Come as you are—some people wear jeans, others dress up a little. It’s entirely up to you.

  • Not at all. We’re glad you’re here and will never put you on the spot. If you’d like to stay after the service to meet other members of the congregation, we’ll be glad to meet you.
